At Eye Society LLC, we pride ourselves in providing personalized eye care services supported by state-of-the-art ophthalmological equipment in a comfortable environment. We consider our patients are part of our family and always endeavor to ensure you receive the best eye care available. We offer a comprehensive variety of vision and eye health exams and treatments as well as contact lenses, eyeglasses and pre/post-operative care following eye surgery. Your Chicago optometrist urges all children and adults to have their eyes tested regularly to maintain optimal vision and to help detect underlying diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and autoimmune diseases that affect blood vessels within the eye.
During your annual eye examination, your Chicago optometrist will discuss past results of eye tests and perform a series of eye and vision tests to evaluate your overall eye health and vision abilities. If additional testing is needed, your optometrist will take the time to explain why more testing is needed if there is a possibility you have an eye disorder or disease.
If you prefer contact lenses over eyeglasses for personal or functional reasons, don't hesitate to ask your Chicago optometrist about our contact lens selection featuring lens types to accommodate most vision or corneal abnormalities. Whether you need or want extended wear, rigid-gas permeable, extended wear disposable, daily wear soft or other specialized contact lens, we can help provide contacts best suited to fit your lifestyle and eye health requirements. In addition, we also offer cosmetic (colored) lenses to transform eye shades or conceal eye color irregularities.
Laser assisted in-situ keratomileusis, or LASIK, restores vision impaired by refractive errors that prevent you from seeing clear, crisp images. People with astigmatism, farsightedness and nearsightedness can greatly benefit from LASIK surgery, an in-office procedure that involves reshaping of the cornea so that light refracts normally. Your Chicago Loop optometrist at Eye Society LLC offers pre/post-operative examinations following LASIK and other eye surgeries.
If you have astigmatism, dry eyes keratoconus or presbyopia, you may need hard to fit contacts especially made to accommodate numerous eye conditions that prevent people from wearing traditional contact lenses. Types of contacts suggested by your Chicago optometrist for certain cornea or eye health problems include gas permeable lenses, toric contact lenses and multifocal/bifocal contact lenses.
Eye Society LLC is proud of their selection of frames and availability of our own line of eye wear called Eye Society Wear. We have an exciting collection of fashionable, trendy frames that flatter all face shapes, skin tones and eye colors at affordable prices. Visit our Eye Society Wear page and see for yourself!
